Football Team Plays in First Ever Varsity Game vs. Jupiter Christian on ESPN 760 Radio
There was some extra excitement leading into the football teams first ever varsity game. A pep rally, radio broadcast, tailgating, and the entire school out to watch. The game started out very poorly for the Thunderwolves, who tried to dig themselves out of a 20-0 whole in the first quarter. They finally got on the scoreboard when Tyler Levin showed extreme speed and broke free right up the middle for a 76 yard touchdown run. It was easily the highlight of the night, as the team would only score one more touchdown and loose 46-13. Nick Russo threw for 52 yards on 6-17 passing. Tremaine Gabriel rushed for 53 yards and a score on 26 carries, and Will Koch led the team in receiving with 2 catches for 36 yards.
